The game between Garrison Forest and St. John's Catholic Prep wasn't particularly close, with Garrison Forest falling 50-36. Garrison Forest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. John's Catholic Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Nadia Ferguson was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points for St. John's Catholic Prep. Maya Graham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Garrison Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7.
Garrison Forest will face off against South River at TBD on Monday. South River is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against John Carroll at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th.
