East Troy has gone 8-2 against Whitewater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Troy has four straight  wins, Whitewater has 12 straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
East Troy took  a  three-set  defeat the last time they faced off against Jefferson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles last Thursday, sneaking past  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Trojans have posted  against the Eagles since October 15, 2022.
 East Troy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-102), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 16-25,  16-14.
East Troy had a senior duo take command as  Hailey Wojciuch  had 15  digs and four  aces and  Madi Wojciuch  had 12  digs and one assist.
 East Troy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 11 consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Whitewater came up short against  Delavan-Darien on Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12,  25-7.
 Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for East Troy, their win bumped their record up to 20-17.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  contest:  East Troy has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 7.8  aces per game. However, it's not like Whitewater struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 5  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 East Troy beat Whitewater 3-1  in their previous meeting  last Tuesday. Will the Trojans repeat their success,  or do  the Whippets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
