The Moran Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 19th straight defeat. They were dealt a 49-20 loss at the hands of Rising Star. Moran has not had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leanna Sikes was Moran's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Moran's defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Rising Star, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
Moran will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. May presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Texas (the Tigers are ranked 777th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1598th). As for Rising Star, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eula knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully the Wildcats likes a good challenge.
