Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Polytech). Everything went their way against the Dover Senators on Tuesday as they made off with  a  22-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
  Riley Brown was a standout: she got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Frazier, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Polytech pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Dover, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Polytech is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Cape Henlopen  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Panthers 3.1, the Vikings 1.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dover will  face off against  rival Milford  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
