St. Timothy's were the 61-39 winner over Gerstell Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. St. Timothy's took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gerstell Academy on Wednesday. St. Timothy's has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gerstell Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Annie Jackson out in front who scored 11 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Gerstell Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Moran, who scored 8 points.
St. Timothy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gerstell Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Timothy's will square off against McDonogh at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gerstell Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
