Bishop O'Dowd pushed their record up to 14-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Alameda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.
Bishop O'Dowd will head out on the road to take on Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Piedmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Bishop O'Dowd likes a good challenge. As for Alameda, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Castro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Castro Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Alameda is ranked 124th).
