Despite the loss, Coolidge still got an impressive performance from Ja'kwan Jordan, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Jordan continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Blake Jones, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Valley Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Grier out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Grier is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Austin Wallace was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Coolidge's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6. As for Valley Christian, their win was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2.
