On Thursday, La Costa Canyon are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against San Clemente at 3:15 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went La Costa Canyon's way against Vista last Thursday as they made off with a 34-0 win.
Meanwhile, San Clemente might have drawn first blood against Torrey Pines last week, but it was Torrey Pines who got the last laugh. San Clemente found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 32-53 punch to the gut against Torrey Pines. This contest was a close 24-26 at the break, but unfortunately for San Clemente it sure didn't stay that way.
La Costa Canyon's victory lifted them to 1-1 while San Clemente's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if La Costa Canyon can add another positive mark to their record or if San Clemente can shake off the loss and take the spring out of La Costa Canyon's step.
