David Crockett posted their biggest win since November 26, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sullivan East Patriots as the David Crockett Pioneers made off with an 82-57 victory. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Sullivan East's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Ridlehuber, who went 6 for 15 to rack up 16 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. With that strong performance, Ridlehuber is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game. Eli Hubbard was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards.

David Crockett's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Sullivan East, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.

David Crockett wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-48 defeat against Dobyns-Bennett on the 8th. As for Sullivan East, they will take on Unicoi County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Unicoi County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Sullivan East likes a good challenge.
