Sacred Heart is 7-2 against Green Ridge since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Sacred Heart Gremlins will head out on the road to square off against the Green Ridge Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Sacred Heart stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past North Callaway 71-45. Winning may never get old, but Sacred Heart sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Meanwhile, Green Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over La Monte on Tuesday, taking the game 58-47. Given Green Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while La Monte is ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sacred Heart is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Green Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-7.
Sacred Heart didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Green Ridge when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win. Will Sacred Heart repeat their success, or does Green Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
