The Mather Rangers won against the Prosser Falcons last Monday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Mather snuck past the Falcons with a 63-58 victory. Winning may never get old, but Mather sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Mather's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steve Edwards, who scored 17 points. Adin Smajlovic was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Mather is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for Prosser, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
Mather will face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Austin College and Career Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Prosser, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Firecats at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th.
