Hollywood Hills hasn't had much luck against McArthur recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Spartans will challenge the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Hollywood Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Hollywood Hills is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Blanche Ely 21-6 on Wednesday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Julio Fernandez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those hits were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Santiago-Francois, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hollywood Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .771. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, McArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against Canterbury, falling 15-0.

McArthur saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isnedit Fernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Hollywood Hills' record now sits at 2-4. As for McArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

McArthur's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hollywood Hills has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .537. It's a different story for McArthur, though, as they've only averaged .318. Will they be able to contain Hollywood Hills' hitters?

Hollywood Hills might still be hurting after the 9-1 loss they got from McArthur in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
