Jackson will challenge Central on the road at Game has been moved to Henderson Stadium at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Jackson have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Jackson had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 24-12 win over Howard. The success made it back-to-back wins for Jackson.
Meanwhile, Central have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Northeast last week as they made off with a 27-2 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Central had established a 27-2 advantage.
Their wins bumped Jackson to 2-2 and Central to 1-3. In their victory, Central relied heavily on senior Donald Lamb, who rushed for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jackson will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
