The Rockville Rams lost against the Magruder Colonels back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rockville was beaten by the Colonels 61-33. Rockville has not had much luck with the Colonels recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Magruder's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Dabbondanza, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Gerald Suarez, who scored 15 points.
Rockville has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Magruder, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Rockville will face off against the Wolverines at TBD on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Watkins Mill is ranked 259th, while the Rams are ranked 253rd). As for Magruder, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Richard Montgomery's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
