The Bastrop Rams put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 62-56 win over Sterlington. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Alana Myles, who scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mariah Heard, who scored 15 points.
Bastrop pushed their record up to 29-0 with that victory, which was their 16th straight on the road. As for Sterlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.
Bastrop will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wossman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rams in Louisiana (the Wildcats are ranked third, while the Rams are ranked 25th). As for Sterlington, they will head out on the road to face off against the Farmers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
