Broken Arrow took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seiling on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Broken Arrow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Seiling is ranked third).
Broken Arrow's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taryn Jacobs, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of McKenzie Mathurin, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Broken Arrow's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seiling, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
