The Texas Lions HomeSchool Lions waltzed into their game on Friday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over Empowering Others Prep.
Leading Texas Lions HomeSchool to victory were Legend Durst and Bryant Herring. Durst scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, while Herring dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabriel De oliveira, who scored six points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Texas Lions HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Empowering Others Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing BigTyme Prep Academy the next time they take the court. Empowering Others Prep will head out to face BigTyme Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Texas Lions HomeSchool will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
