They claimed a resounding 82-39 win over Education Brings Leadership & Achievement at home. That looming 82-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hills Academy yet this season.
Hills Academy found their leader in underclassman Ralph Doomes III, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Campbell, who scored 13 points.
Defeat or not, Education Brings Leadership & Achievement got some senior leadership from Terrell Murray who scored 14 points and Timothy Hill who scored 12 points. Murray scored a full 35.9% of Education Brings Leadership & Achievement's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Miles Hunter was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Education Brings Leadership & Achievement struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Hills Academy posted 15 assists.
Hills Academy's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.91 points. As for Education Brings Leadership & Achievement, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Hills Academy will head out on the road to face off against Covington Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covington Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 457th, while Hills Academy is ranked 172nd). As for Education Brings Leadership & Achievement, they will be playing at home against Central Georgia Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
