After soaring high against Balko last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Turpin found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-40 punch to the gut against Tyrone. If Turpin were hoping to take revenge for the 0-50 loss against Tyrone the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Turpin's record to 1-0. The win got Tyrone back to even at 0-0.
Turpin will look to defend their home turf next week against Boise City at 7:00 PM. As for Tyrone, they will face off against Chetopa.
