Even though The Beaverton Beavers scored an imposing 33 points on Thursday, the Westview Wildcats still came out on top. Westview walked away with a 40-33 win over Beaverton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Westview.
Irason Kekaualua had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Heath Thompson and his 154 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Westview's win.
Westview's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Beaverton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westview will take on Sunset at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Beaverton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Jesuit presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Beaverton in Oregon (Jesuit is ranked 14th, while Beaverton is ranked 93rd).
