This season hasn't been kind to the Angola HomeSchool Warriors, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clinton Christian on Friday. Angola HomeSchool was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Clinton Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Clinton Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Snyder out in front who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Snyder has scored at least 25% of Clinton Christian's points. Hayden Lower was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Angola HomeSchool's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Clinton Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Angola HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Benton HomeSchool at 8:45 p.m. on February 9, 2024. Clinton Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lakeland Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m. on December 29th. Lakeland Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
