Fremd won the last time they faced Schaumburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Saxons with a sharp 17-0 victory. Considering the Vikings have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fremd has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Schaumburg, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Coming up, Fremd will face off against Hoffman Estates at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a 22-game losing streak. As for Schaumburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-0 victory against Waukegan on the 17th.
