Softball Recap: Riverside Wins Going Away Against Montrose

Riverside won the last time they faced Montrose and things went their way on Monday too. Riverside put the hurt on Montrose with a sharp 16-8 victory.

Kate Reynolds was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Keller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The win got Riverside back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will head out to face off against Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montrose, they will face off against Dunmore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
