On Thursday, Tulia ended up a good deal behind McKinney Christian Academy and lost 71-54. Tulia has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Logan Becerra and Nic Carrasco certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Becerra scored 21 points, while Carrasco scored six points along with six assists and six rebounds. The match was Becerra's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zaiden Jalomo, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Tulia has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for McKinney Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Tulia won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Smyer at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th. Smyer is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. McKinney Christian Academy and Panhandle will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at. Panhandle is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
