The Eupora Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Union Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eupora will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Union is ranked 99th).
Last Friday, Eupora came up short against Philadelphia and fell 50-41.
Meanwhile, Union came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Philadelphia by a score of 64-51.
Rymia Craft was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kylee Madden, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Eupora has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Union, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
