North Florida Christian is 7-2 against Maclay since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will host the Marauders at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, North Florida Christian put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past FAMU DRS, posting a 49-12 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

A big part of North Florida Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Tommy Coyne and his top target Kyle Estimond. Coyne threw for 184 yards and two TDs on only 12 passes while Estimond picked up 72 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Estimond a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two).
North Florida Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
North Florida Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Arius Burt and Brodie Pursell. North Florida Christian got some further help from NKari Green: he picked up two sacks and made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Maclay was able to grind out a solid win over Chambers Academy on Friday, taking the game 38-28. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Marauders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 263rd in Florida, while the Rebels are ranked 106th in Alabama).
North Florida Christian better keep an eye on Beau Beshears. He was instrumental in Maclay's win, throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. Their leading receiver Henry Richardson was Beshears' top target yet again, picking up 127 receiving yards and one TD.
The win got North Florida Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Maclay, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
North Florida Christian took a serious blow against Maclay in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 41-0. Thankfully for the Eagles, George Grant (who threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
