Tattnall Square Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Brookstone Cougars. The Trojans lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 26-15 score last time.
Dillon Terry was nothing short of spectacular for Brookstone: he rushed for 80 yards and one score on only five carries, and also caught one TD.
Brookstone has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tattnall Square Academy will take on St. Anne-Pacelli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookstone, they will square off against Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
