The Snowflake Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 25 points or more this season. They blew past San Tan Foothills 52-18 at home. 52 seems to be a good number for Snowflake as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Among those leading the charge was Kloah Ulberg, who scored eight points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that she grabbed two or more steals. Ryah Denhalter was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, San Tan Foothills struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Snowflake pushed their record up to 6-3 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.89 points. As for San Tan Foothills, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Snowflake will stay at home for another game and welcome Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Mountain View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Snowflake is ranked 21st). As for San Tan Foothills, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert Sunrise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Desert Sunrise focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
