Lynchburg HomeSchool has struggled against Northern Virginia HomeSchool recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Northern Virginia HomeSchool found their leader in underclassman Zackary Fitts, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fitts has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Hatcher, who scored 11 points.
Lynchburg HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynchburg HomeSchool on the road again on Monday and play against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy is ranked 219th, while Lynchburg HomeSchool is ranked 195th). As for Northern Virginia HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to challenge Harrisonburg HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Harrisonburg HomeSchool will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
