The Walnut Hills Eagles were the 62-45 winner over the Little Miami Panthers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Walnut Hills received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 68-54 to Little Miami.
Despite the loss, Walnut Hills still got an impressive performance from CJ Claxton, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmitt King, who scored 15 points.
Walnut Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Little Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Walnut Hills will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Turpin at 7:30 p.m. As for Little Miami, they will head out on the road to face off against Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
