Maia Riccio continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cranston West, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Kyla Buco was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Rogers dropped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.2 points per game. As for Cranston West, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Rogers will head out on the road to square off against the Saints at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Raphael Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Cranston West, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Purples at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Rhode Island (Classical is ranked 36th, while the Falcons are ranked 21st).
