The Orange Lions lost against the Chagrin Falls Tigers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Orange took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chagrin Falls.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chagrin Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Russell, who scored 25 points. Lilly Stukus was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with two steals.
Orange's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Chagrin Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Orange will head out on the road to face off against Fairview at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Fairview is ranked 616th, while Orange is ranked 591st). As for Chagrin Falls, they will be playing at home against Perry at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
