Minster extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 8-5. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Parkway Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since March 23rd.

As for Parkway, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 2.53 runs allowed.

For Parkway's part, they got a massive performance out of Madelyn Stover, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmery Temple, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Looking ahead, Minster will host Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Parkway, they will face off against Fort Recovery at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
