Fort Osage has gone a perfect 5-0 against Raytown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Bluejays at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fort Osage has five straight victories, Raytown has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Fort Osage's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Belton as they made off with a 5-0 win. Considering Fort Osage have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Raytown took on Grain Valley on Tuesday. The Bluejays lost 8-0 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Raytown have lost by exactly eight goals.

Fort Osage's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Raytown, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Fort Osage's way against Raytown in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Fort Osage made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
