Parkville has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Loch Raven Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Loch Raven took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Parkville, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Parkville slipped by the Owls 21-20.
Meanwhile, Loch Raven unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to North Point 45-40.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Maya Gordon, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Meona Boykin, who scored 11 points.
Parkville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Loch Raven, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Parkville was taken down by the Raiders 73-25 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Parkville was down 47-12.
