The Roberto Clemente Charter School Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-42 to Lehigh Valley Academy.
Lehigh Valley Academy found their leader in underclassman Ziyon Wilkins, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Varner, who scored 12 points.
Roberto Clemente Charter School's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roberto Clemente Charter School will challenge the at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, they and the Knights will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
