Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pima). They claimed a resounding 71-40 victory over the Arete Prep CHARGERS. The Roughriders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
Crew Oetjen and Isaiah Rubio certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Oetjen dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards, while Rubio went 5 for 12 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. That was a full 37.5% of Arete Prep's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.
