Napa Christian is 8-2 against the Cougars since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Napa Christian Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on February 2nd. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Napa Christian has five straight victories, the Cougars have 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Napa Christian gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Trinity Prep 88-38 on the road. Napa Christian pushed the score to 73-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders had no chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for Breydan Worth, who dropped a triple-double on 34 points, 16 rebounds, and 13 assists. Worth is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Obinna (Obi) Ekezie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy suffered a rough 51-28 loss at the hands of the Spartans on Tuesday.
Napa Christian pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 92.0 points per game. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Napa Christian against the Cougars in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 93-26 win. With Napa Christian ahead 52-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
