Evangel Christian put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Chambers Academy Rebels by a score of  6-1. That's two games straight that the Lightning have won by  exactly five  runs.
 Evangel Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kemp Swords, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  Swords a new career-high in  doubles (two).  KC GABLES was another,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
Evangel Christian's win was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-0.
