The New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 34-27 to New York Military Academy.
Despite the loss, New York School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Kalilou Kaba, who scored 16 points along with 6 steals. Kaba scored a full 59.3% of New York School for the Deaf's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
New York School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for New York Military Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
New York School for the Deaf will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Varsity Opponent at 4:15 p.m. New York Military Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westminster School at 2:30 p.m. on December 15th.
