It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Collinsville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Wheeler Mustangs. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Collinsville's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Wheeler, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Coming up, Collinsville will face off against Lindsay on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. Wheeler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
