Hillside never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Orange Tornadoes as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Hillside's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Orange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Coming up, Hillside will head out on the road to take on Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Orange, they will host Shabazz at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.91 runs per game on average), something the Tornadoes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
