Mount Anthony had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-33 punch to the gut against Fair Haven on Friday. If Mount Anthony were hoping to take revenge for the 7-43 loss against Fair Haven the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Mount Anthony will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Mt. Abraham at 7:00 PM. Fair Haven will look to defend their home turf next week against Otter Valley at 7:00 PM.
