After a string of six wins, the Christian Life Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 50-37 to Parkview Christian Academy. Christian Life was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
It was another big night for Gracie Lambes, who scored 26 points along with six assists and six steals for Parkview Christian Academy. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Lambes has scored at least a third of Parkview Christian Academy's points. Emily Howard was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Christian Life's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8. As for Parkview Christian Academy, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Life will take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Screaming Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Symone Pittman and Lambes.
