Hendrix scored a full 53.7% of Victory Christian's points, the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kyra Keller, who scored 3 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
St. Bernard Prep pushed their record up to 1-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Victory Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Bernard Prep will challenge Meek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Talladega County Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
