There's no place like home for Southwest Onslow, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Clinton Dark Horses  on Tuesday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Stallions as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.
 The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-23,  25-17.
 Dixie Johnson paced Southwest Onslow's offense, picking up 19 kills. Johnson got some help from  Julie Padgett and her 13 assists.  Liliana Artiga controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Southwest Onslow's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Southwest Onslow will square off against Washington at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Clinton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Roanoke Rapids  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
