A Season-Best Performance from Jason Wilkett Leads Wilburton over Spiro
Sadly, Jason Wilkett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Wilburton over Spiro on Friday. Wilkett rushed for 315 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
Wilburton is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Wilkett and Wilburton will be playing at home against Antlers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jason Powders Has Career-Day on Friday
Jason Powders produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Henryetta to the win on Friday. Powders rushed for 294 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.
Henryetta's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Powders will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Vian on Thursday.

Spiro was led to victory by Brycen Graham, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Graham rushed for 120 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
Spiro moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Graham and Spiro will take on Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Masyn Wright's Big Game Leads Vian over Atoka
Vian picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Masyn Wright. Atoka had no answer to Wright as he rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wright's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
Vian pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Wright and Vian will square off against Henryetta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jayden Berry Delivers Best Effort of Season
Spiro was led to victory by Jayden Berry, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Berry picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 13 total tackles.
This season, Berry has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 33.5 receiving yards per game.
