Given Memorial's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Will Rogers College is ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jalil Cotton was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Fabian Harris, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Will Rogers College, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will take on Holland Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
