Inglewood moved up to 393 from 472 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ocean. A 54-7 win over Hamilton helped the Sentinels improve their standing.
Inglewood was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, Stephen Thomas's team triumphed over the Yankees 54-7.
Culver City's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Xan Cuevas threw for 76 and two touchdowns and Stanley Norman had 47 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Hasson chipped in 38 yards. Mark Conley helped Culver City's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
The Centaurs' Cuevas and Julius Wilson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cuevas has thrown for 727 yards this season, while Wilson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 12 catches for 234 yards. Dana Dotson from Morningside leads the league in rushing with 458 yards.
Culver City took down West Adams Prep 51-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cuevas in the win.
