The Liberty Red Devils will face off against the Council Rock North Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
Liberty's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past High Point Academy 15-0. The win was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on three straight.

Blade Epps made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carson Garrick, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4. He has become a key player for Liberty: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-6 otherwise. Caleb Collins was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Liberty hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as High Point Academy struck out 12 times.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Council Rock North sidestepped Pendleton for a 6-5 victory. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by just one run.
Like Liberty, Council Rock North also got a great game from a two-way player: Will Seiler. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Seiler has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Will Cabo was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jude Hamilton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Liberty's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Council Rock North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-1.
Council Rock North's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Liberty has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465.
